Excellent rapid repair. My GPS now seems to be working perfectly. One suggestion, in the current climate of postal strikes there might be a better route of return than the special delivery. They give no warning of delivery ( cf all other methods that e mails), so when I was not in to sign, it went back to the depot and stayed there for 5 days.

I was on the verge of feeling I had to buy a new camera - a bit frustrating when the fault was a simple one which other firms approached said was an impossible repair - out of date model, no spare parts etc. So I was really impressed when you took on the work and returned the camera in full working order less than a week after my initial enquiry. Excellent service. One suggestion ; the return mail service you describe caused confusion in our local post office - not quite sure what to do - so I think I paid for the cost of returning the item by Royal Mail, only for the camera to arrive back by courier (non- royal mail). I did have a query over delivery address and raised a query via email which took a while to get a reply and my query was never fully answered. Although the replacement screen was not in stock at the time that I delivered my Garmin G3 Approach, it was fully repaired within the timescale stated at the time. It's a bit early to say, but it's working fine at the moment. My understanding of the fault was that it was caused by a poor manufacturing process where the USB connecter inside the Garmin isn't hand-soldered but instead baked - which can (and did in my case) lead to brittle connection joints that are easily damaged. I'm assuming that your repair has hand soldered the connecion and if so it will mean that the product is now better than new. All the posting and communication worked well.

My Palm Pre suffered damage to the SIM connectors – this effectively made the phone useless as without it being able to access the SIM card it served little purpose. I searched the web for a repair service and there were very few companies that repair Palm handsets. After reading the reviews of Mobile Repair Service I filled out the questionnaire choose the fast track option and mailed my phone to them. They notified me when the received the phone, the status was continually updated and the unit repaired very quickly. It was returned to me within two days and has worked perfectly since.
